The Sooners picked up the Big 12's most significant win of the young season on Saturday when they escaped Knoxville with a 31-24 win over the Tennessee Volunteers in double-overtime. While a lot can be said about the late surge made by Oklahoma's offense, it's no secret that it was the Sooner defense that kept them within striking distance and ultimately provided the game clinching play.
