NORMAN, Okla. -- Kansas’ most alarming plays of the day came long after the outcome had been decided.
The Sooners held a three touchdown lead when Pooka Williams took the ball 24 yards and landed just outside OU’s red zone. On the next play, Khalil Herbert took it 25 yards to the end zone.
After a two-point conversion, OU still had a 55-40 advantage. But in some ways, it felt like Kansas was just running up the score on Owen Field.
“It is extremely frustrating because on the outside we are winning these games, but in the locker room it feels like we are losing them,” safety Robert Barnes said.
