The only way to avoid hearing the song 'Boomer Sooner' during an OU football game is to put the TV on mute.
The Sooners' band, the Pride of Oklahoma, has become notorious for playing the team's fight song rather excessively during games. So much that Jennifer Salvo, a senior mellophone player in the Pride, decided to count how many times 'Boomer Sooner' blared from the band's instruments this season.
