NORMAN — Oklahoma senior Keeley Kmieciak is finally back competing in the event she loves the most: The floor exercise.
Because of injuries, Kmieciak was out of the Sooners’ floor lineup the last two years after competing as an all-around gymnast as a freshman.
The Naperville, Ill., native is one of two OU all-around gymnasts this year, joining junior Chayse Capps. They are the first two Sooners to compete in every event since late in the 2014 season.
Fourth-ranked OU opened its 2016 season with a narrow loss at LSU last week, but is hosting its first meet of the season Friday at 6:45 p.
