STILLWATER — Oklahoma State will have one representative in the field at the NCAA women’s golf championships when action begins May 18 at OSU’s Karsten Creek Golf Club.
OSU’s Emma Broze won a playoff for one of the final spots in the field and will compete as an individual after the Cowgirls narrowly missed the cut at their regional tournament in San Francisco on Wednesday. The top six teams out of each regional qualified for next week’s tournament, but OSU finished tied for seventh, one shot behind sixth-place Colorado.
Oklahoma will be in the field, finishing sixth at its regional in Austin, Texas, providing some in-state flavor for the championship, which will be broadcast on the Golf Channel over the final three days, May 21-23.
