The surveillance footage of Oklahoma RB Joe Mixon punching a woman in a Norman restaurant in July 2014 is public record and copies must be made, the state supreme court ruled Tuesday.
The Oklahoma Association of Broadcasters sued for public access to the video in February after a district judge said it was not public record.

The video was shown to members of the media shortly after the incident in 2014, when Mixon hit fellow student Amelia Molitor in the face following an argument, causing several fractures.
