Last week, OU announced that Sooner legends Adrian Peterson and Trent Williams would be honorary captains for the Spring Game, with the two teams being named Team Peterson and Team Williams. Well, we now know who is on each roster:
Additionally, details for the game were announced, and it’s definitely a departure from the games of yesteryear — but in a good way. For one, a traditional scoring system will be used, which is intended to give it the feel of a real game. Also, the teams were picked by the coaches (the real coaches, not the honorary ones), and the teams are about as evenly matched as one could expect.
