Just under two months after suffering his third season-ending injury in four years, Oklahoma Sooners running back Rodney Anderson has declared for the 2019 NFL Draft. The fact that he is doing this is a testament to how immensely talented he happens to be, as well as his demonstrated ability to recover from serious injuries.
On Thursday afternoon, Anderson announced his decision via Twitter, thanking coaches, teammates, trainers and fans in the process.
The Katy, Texas native left and did not return after sustaining a knee injury in the first half of OU’s matchup against UCLA, and it was later announced that he would miss the season.
