The future of the quarterback position with the Oklahoma Sooners has been an especially hot topic this week, but that ramps up even more with the revelation that Austin Kendall is entering the NCAA Transfer Portal.
According to a report from the Tulsa World, Kendall has taken the first step to exploring his options. This doesn’t necessarily mean that he’s leaving, but when a player enters the Transfer Portal, other programs are allowed to contact the player and enquire about a potential move.
It’s also worth noting that Kendall, who has been with the program for three seasons, will be eligible to play immediately as a graduate transfer in the event that he chooses to pursue another opportunity.
