According to OU Insider’s Brandon Drumm, Oklahoma Sooners redshirt sophomore DL Jalen Redmond will opt out of the 2020 college football season.
In his two years at OU, Redmond has dealt with his share of physical setbacks. Most recently, the Midwest City native underwent shoulder surgery this spring. Yet perhaps most notably, he was forced to sit out the majority of the 2018 season as he overcame a serious blood clotting issue. With so much still to learn about the coronavirus, it’s not difficult to understand why Redmond would elect to make this decision.
