Blue-chip defensive back Damond Harmon signed his letter of intent with the Oklahoma Sooners on Wednesday. The four-star prospect could eventually land at safety or cornerback once he arrives on campus.
OU cornerbacks coach Roy Manning snagged Harmon’s signature amid competition from a gaggle of potential suitors in the Southeast. Harmon rated as the No. 8 player in the state of Virginia in the 247Sports Composite rankings for 2021 and 26th nationally among cornerbacks.
Harmon joins high school teammate Kelvin Gilliam in landing with OU on Wednesday.
