The Oklahoma Sooners received three verbal commitments from elite 2019 prospects on Friday, but the 2020 class got in on the action when Deerfield Beach, Fla. running back Jaylan Knighton announced his intention to play football at OU. Like many other 2020 OU targets, Knighton is in Norman for an unofficial visit this weekend.
The 5’10”, 180-lb. back earned an offer from Oklahoma back in late January, but he also touts offers from the likes of Alabama, Auburn, Clemson, Florida, Georgia, LSU, Miami and several others. Knighton is currently one of two running backs in Oklahoma’s 2020 class, joining five-star Aledo, Texas Jase McClellan, who is also in town for an unofficial visit.
