Lincoln Riley has struck again — the Oklahoma Sooners were able to gain the commitment of Noah Arinze after their pursuit of the talented defensive end. Arinze has felt incredibly comfortable with the Sooners’ staff and it would have been surprising if he had not ultimately ended up with Alex Grinch & Co.
Arinze, a product of St. Louis, Mo., chose Oklahoma over Missouri, Iowa State, Tennessee, Texas and others.
Arinze brings a unique frame to Norman, standing at 6’6, 240 lbs., he plays weakside defensive end in high school, but I can fully see Alex Grinch getting him to work with Bennie Wylie and making him a defensive tackle (if not a nose tackle).
