Class of 2020 three-star DB Jalen Huff has announced that he is no longer committed the Oklahoma Sooners, citing OU’s defensive staff changes as a primary reason that lead to this decision.
Huff originally made a verbal commitment to Oklahoma in November, but after DB coach Kerry Cooks, his primary recruiter, moved on to Texas Tech in January, the connection between the Georgia prospect and the Sooners waned.
The Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets appear to lead in Huff’s re-opened recruitment and have been the rumored choice for quite some time. Fortunately for Oklahoma, there is plenty of time between now and the early signing period to recruit another CB to fill the void.
