The 2019 class could end up being one of the strongest in years for the Oklahoma Sooners, but it took a bit of a hit late Thursday evening when four-star athlete Jeffery Carter announced that he was no longer committed to OU. Carter did, however, say that Oklahoma is still in the running.
The Aledo (TX) prospect, who has been recruited by Cale Gundy and Kerry Cooks, originally committed to OU during the #ChampUBBQ on July 29 of last year.
Carter is a talented kid who will have plenty of options. In fact, Carter received an offer from Texas about 10 days ago to go along with his previous offers from Baylor, Georgia, Oklahoma State Oregon and Penn State.
