At Wednesday’s University of Oklahoma Board of Regents meeting, a pilot program — which will allow for the sale of alcoholic beverages at men’s and women’s basketball, baseball and softball games — was approved. OU president James Gallogly will report on the status of the pilot program next May, and sales at football games can be approved at that time.

Additionally, the regents approved the alcohol-related advertising at sporting events as well as a $15 renovation to Oklahoma Memorial Stadium, which will include additional ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act) seating and amenity areas.
