In the early moments of the Spring Game, Oklahoma Sooners fans were given an enormous scare when running back Trey Sermon was tackled awkwardly and suffered what appeared to be a leg injury. Details were scarce, but it looked bad at the time and appeared to prevent Sermon from putting weight on the leg.
Fortunately it seems as if the injury is not particularly serious, at least not according to Lincoln Riley.
As a true freshman in 2017, Sermon rushed for 744 yards and five touchdowns on 121 carries. The former four-star recruit out of Marietta, Ga.
