Oklahoma Sooners Football: Jalen Hurts finishes second in the 2019 Heisman Trophy voting

Oklahoma Sooners senior QB Jalen Hurts finished second in voting for the 85th Heisman Memorial Trophy behind LSU winner QB Joe Burrow and ahead of Ohio State QB Justin Fields and DE Chase Young.

The Heisman voting:
Burrow: 841 first-place votes, 41 second, 3 third, 2,608 points
Jalen Hurts, OU: 12-231-264, 762 points
Justin Fields, OSU: 6-271-187, 747 points
Chase Young, OSU: 20-205-173, 643 points.

With Hurts as this year’s Heisman runner-up, this marks the fifth consecutive season a Sooner has finished among the top four vote-getters for college football’s most prestigious award.
