Back on Jan. 12, Norman North WR Drake Stoops announced his commitment to the Oklahoma Sooners as a preferred walk-on. On Saturday evening, his brother, Isaac Stoops, announced his intention to do the same. Isaac and Drake are, of course, the twin sons of legendary coach Bob Stoops, who retired this past June.
Isaac caught 45 passes for 914 yards and 11 touchdowns as a senior in 2017 after spending previous seasons as primarily a defensive player. He He’s a bit less likely to eventually make an impact in comparison to his brother, but it will still be incredibly cool for both of them play at the university in which their father has left such a lasting legacy.
