Happy Thursday, friends and fans!
The annual College Football Awards Show kicks off in Atlanta tonight at 6 p.m. CT on ESPN, with the preceding red carpet show on ESPNU at 5 p.m. CT. Many of the winners won’t be announced until tonight, but one thing’s for sure — there will be plenty of attention on three Oklahoma Sooners for some major honors.
QB Jalen Hurts is a finalist for the Davey O’Brien Award and the Maxwell Award, given to the nation’s top quarterback and top overall player, respectively. WR CeeDee Lamb is a finalist for the Biletnikoff Award as he’s in contention for being named the nation’s top receiver.
