Happy Monday, friends and fans!
Despite being sidelined for the Oklahoma Sooners’ historic come-from-behind victory last weekend, junior WR CeeDee Lamb has officially been named a semifinalist for the 2019 Biletnikoff Award — an honor reserved for the nation’s top receiver.
Even without playing against Baylor, Lamb’s numbers this season are just north of ridiculous. He leads the FBS in yards-per-catch for receivers with 40 or more receptions. He’s also tied for second in the nation with 13 touchdowns. Overall, he exhibits all the traits you want to see in a future NFL superstar — phenomenal hands, superb route-running skills, imposing size and strength, great speed, elite vision, and the innate ability to make a big play when it’s not immediately there.
