Happy Tuesday, friends and fans!
It wasn’t a Heisman moment, and in the box score it only shows up as an incomplete pass, but on OU’s final drive against Baylor, Jalen Hurts might have saved the Oklahoma Sooners’ season when he tracked down a bad snap and got rid of it without warranting an intentional grounding penalty. The Tulsa World’s Guerin Emig explains:
Oklahoma would have no doubt been in a world of trouble had Hurts either jumped on the ball or the Bears snatched it away altogether, but fortunately for this team his championship composure took over and he made the right play.
