Oklahoma Sooners Football and Baseball: Oklahoma earns commitment from local two-sport star Cade Horton

2020 prospect Cade Horton was previously committed to play baseball for the Ole Miss Rebels, but when the Oklahoma Sooners offered the Norman High standout the opportunity of playing both football and baseball this past June, it was safe to assume that OU would be tough to beat. On Tuesday, the pitcher/QB announced his intention to stay in his hometown.

Horton throws a 93 mph fastball, batted .461 as a junior and is considered one of the better baseball prospects in his class, but he also led his football team to the school’s first playoff berth since 2012.
