After trailing 37-35 at halftime, the Oklahoma Sooners opened the second half with two consecutive three pointers from Ryan Spangler. The effort provided a spark as the Sooners found success in the transition game building a 52-37 lead. Unable to slow down the downhill attack, the Harvard Crimson exhausted a timeout hoping to put an end to a 17-point run since coming out of the locker room.
Unfortunately for the Crimson, Jordan Woodard continued a perfect stretch (4-of-4 at the time) from behind the arc extending the lead further. Not only were the Sooners rolling on offense, the defense forced Harvard into ill-advised situations.
