Oklahoma's 56-7 win over UTEP on Saturday didn't come without a major cost.

Head coach Lincoln Riley announced Monday that sophomore cornerback Jordan Thomas will miss the rest of the season after sustaining a knee injury against the Miners.

Parker was slated to be a backup to Jordan Thomas and Parnell Motley this season. He was injured on a special teams play.

Riley said surgery was possible for Parker but he should be ready for next season.

Still completely with my team in faith, I have no doubt in my mind that my brothers will continue to handle business #OnlyOneOu
