The sharp-shooting Wofford Terriers kept things interesting for a bit, but the buckets quit falling and the Oklahoma Sooners righted the ship en route to a 75-64 win. The victory improved OU’s record to 3-0 on the young season.
Brady Manek led the way with 18 points on 6-13 shooting (3-7 from three) while adding 11 rebounds. It was Manek’s third double-double in as many games this season, and he again displayed the improved physicality in comparison to last season. Christian James, who was averaging 26.5 in two games heading into Sunday, found a way to score 15 despite not connecting on any of his three-point attempts.
