After getting dominated from start to finish during the opening round of the Hall of Fame Classic, the Oklahoma Sooners bounced back in a big way, cruising to a 77-66 victory over the Missouri Tigers. With the win, OU improves to 6-1 overall on the 2019 season.
Unlike Monday’s start against Stanford, Lon Kruger’s team was firing on all cylinders on Tuesday. In fact, Oklahoma led by as many as 18 points in the first half, with both the offense and defense looking dialed-in.
Fortunately for Mizzou, it was the glorified home team in Kansas City, and with the majority of the crowd behind it, it was able to mount a furious comeback in the second half.
