After sweeping the West Virginia Mountaineers over the weekend, the Oklahoma Sooners (17-10) came out flat in a midweek matchup against Oklahoma State (12-10-1) in Norman on Tuesday night.
Dylan Grove (1-1) got the start for the Sooners and allowed five runs on two hits and five walks through 2.0 innings of work.
At the plate, Kyler Murray was the lone bright spot on a night in which the Sooners only mustered up five hits. The sophomore went 2-3 at the plate with an RBI double and a walk
Things got off to a bit of a weird start when Steele Walker was ejected from the game for arguing a called third strike in the bottom half of the first inning.
