The Sooners were well on their way to a fourth consecutive championship in the conference’s postseason tournament with an 8-0 run-rule victory over No. 4 seed Texas Tech and a 5-0 lead over Kansas after three innings. The nation’s No. 1-ranked team will have to wait at least another year to win a seventh Big 12 tournament championship.
