It doesn’t seem to matter where the Sooners play, however. Over the last four seasons, including the current one, Oklahoma has a better winning percentage in true road games (62-1, .984) than at home (77-4, .957).
OU is 15-0 in true road games this season and a perfect 12-0 at home. Just three of their 12 games against Big 12 teams, though, have been played on home turf at Marita Hynes Field, and they have only one home date remaining on the regular season schedule (May 4 against second-place Oklahoma State). They are 9-0 in the Big 12 on the road.
