Juarez started the game, going five full innings, striking out six and walking only one batter, and was credited with the win, her seventh of the season without a loss. The junior left-hander has almost half of OU’s 17 wins this season.
Saile relieved Juarez in the sixth inning, completing the final two frames, and struck out five of the six batters she faced.
The third-ranked Sooners have won 38 consecutive home games at Marita Hynes Field, the second longest run in school softball history.
