The top-ranked Oklahoma women's gymnastics team posted the highest score in the nation this season in defeating No. 9 Alabama on Friday night in Tuscaloosa.
The Sooners scored 198.250 to become the first team in the nation to break 198. The Crimson Tide scored 197.400.
It was a stellar night for senior Maggie Nichols as she posted her 18th career perfect 10 with a perfect score on vault. The Little Canada, Minn., native kept up her incredible night with a 9.95 on bars, a 9.975 on floor and a 9.9 on beam for a 39.825 in the all-around.
