Cowboys mash five homers in win over Saint Louis
Oklahoma State belted five home runs Tuesday in a 22-4 victory over Saint Louis at Allie P. Reynolds Stadium in Stillwater.
Brock Mathis went deep twice for the Cowboys, hitting a 2-run homer in the second inning for a 3-0 OSU lead, then delivering a 3-run shot in the third to make it 8-0.
Hueston Morrill followed with a solo homer in the third and OSU led 9-0 after three innings.
Kaden Polcovich, who had a 2-RBI double in the second and an RBI triple in the third, topped those at bats with a grand slam in the sixth inning for a 17-2 Cowboys' lead.
