OU golf team tied for third
The No. 6 Oklahoma men's golf team is tied for third place after two rounds at the Puerto Rico Classic.
The three-day, 54-hole tournament is taking place at the par-71, 6,716-yard Ocean Course at the Rio Mar Beach Resort and Spa in Rio Grande, P.R.
The Sooners posted a 296 on Monday for 12-over, bringing their team total to 570 and 2-over. The field at the Puerto Rico Classic features five top-25 teams. Georgia Tech sits atop the leaderboard with a 562 (6-under), while host Purdue is in sole possession of second place at 567 (1-under).
