Surveillance footage of Oklahoma running back Joe Mixon punching a woman will not be released — at least for now.
Cleveland County District Judge Thad Balkman ruled the tape will be sealed Thursday morning. This decision comes two days after the Oklahoma Court of Civil Appeals ruled the tape to be public record.
According to NewsOK, Balkman stated the video does not qualify as court record, because it was not submitted as evidence by either side in the ongoing court case.
It's not certain when or if the public will get to see the footage that led to Mixon's season-long suspension in 2014.
