Oklahoma coach Bob Stoops announced senior running back Alex Ross will transfer following his graduation next week.
Ross will be immediately eligible as a graduate transfer in 2016 after spending three seasons as a back-up running back and starting kick-off returner.
"Alex has been a great teammate and team guy for four years for us, and we've always been proud of him," Stoops said in a press release. "This is an opportunity for him to go somewhere else and play full time. We wish him the best."
Ross returned two kick-offs for touchdowns in 2014 and came close with a 90-yard return against Oklahoma State in 2015.
