Oklahoma remains on the outside looking in with the second College Football Playoff rankings.
The Sooners are No. 6, trailing No. 1 Alabama, No. 2 Clemson, No. 3 Notre Dame, No. 4 Michigan and No. 5 Georgia.
OU was seventh last week in the initial rankings but jumped one spot after previous-No. 3 LSU was shut out 29-0 by Alabama.
The Sooners (8-1), who host Oklahoma State at 2:30 p.m. Saturday, are followed in the top 10 by LSU, Washington State, West Virginia and Ohio State.
