Conference mates Baylor and West Virginia rose to Nos. 9 and 12 in the AP Top 25, respectively. It is the Mountaineers' best ranking since starting the 2008 season at No. 8. Oklahoma plays the two teams back-to-back near the end of the regular seaso -- Baylor at home on Nov. 12 and at WVU on Nov. 19.
Ohio State and Houston, who beat the Sooners earlier this season but narrowly escaped Saturday, sit at Nos.
