Two Oklahoma football players have retired in a week because of concussions.

OU RB Daniel Brooks is retiring from football, a team spokesman confirmed Friday. SoonerScoop.com was the first to report the news.

He joins LB Tay Evans, whose retirement was announced Monday. Evans had not played since late in the second quarter of Oklahoma's loss to Ohio State on Sept.
