Oklahoma running back and kick returner Alex Ross will transfer after graduating next week, Sooners coach Bob Stoops announced Friday.
"Alex has been a great teammate and team guy for four years for us and we've always been proud of him," Stoops said in a release. "This is an opportunity for him to go somewhere else and play full time. We wish him the best."
Ross will be immediately eligible and will be a senior next season.
Ross' biggest contribution for the Sooners has been as a kick returner. He ranks third in Sooners' history in career kickoff return average (25.
