Oklahoma QB Baker Mayfield fined by Fayetteville court following public intoxication arrest

Following his Feb. 25 arrest in Fayetteville, Ark., Oklahoma QB Baker Mayfield has been fined by the city court $100 for each charge of public intoxication, disorderly conduct and fleeing, the Fayetteville prosecutor's office said Monday.

Mayfield will pay court costs, as well, bringing his total penalty to $460. The fine is average for class C misdemeanors in the state of Arkansas, a spokesperson for the prosecutor's office said.

Last week, Oklahoma coach Lincoln Riley announced Mayfield would be disciplined for the arrest internally, which included 35 hours of community service and undergoing university alcohol education. He will not miss any playing time.
