Oklahoma PG Jordan Shepherd announces intent to transfer

Oklahoma already lost one point guard when Trae Young declared for the 2018 NBA Draft, and now Jordan Shepherd is leaving the program.

After two seasons as the primary backup in Norman, Shepherd will transfer from OU. He announced the decision on Twitter on Sunday.

Shepherd had a frustrating year backing up Young and didn't play often. When he did play, the Sooners' offense often sputtered. He averaged 2.3 points and 1.2 assists this season in just over 11 minutes per contest.

Still, it's worth wondering how much he could have produced with more playing time and more opportunities with the ball.
