Oklahoma OT Cody Ford will miss most of the regular season after undergoing surgery to repair a broken fibula sustained in Saturday's 45-24 loss to Ohio State, OU coach Bob Stoops announced Monday.
Ford, who was Oklahoma's starter at left tackle, was redshirted in 2015 and named OU's Scout Team Offensive Player of the Year.
