Oklahoma, Nebraska announce additional home-and-home football series in 2029, 2030

Oklahoma announced a second home-and-home series with one of its classic rivals, the Nebraska Cornhuskers, on Wednesday.

According to the release, OU and Nebraska's agreement adds two more games to the series with a meeting in Norman, Okla., in 2029 and in Lincoln, Neb., in 2030.

"Oklahoma and Nebraska are two of the most iconic programs in college football history," OU athletic director Joe Castiglione said in a release. "We were excited a few years ago when we were able to rekindle the storied series by scheduling games for 2021 and 2022.

"We feel the same way with the addition of the games in 2029 and 2030.
