The Oklahoma Sooners suffered an embarassing loss to the rival Texas Longhorns over the weekend, dropping the latest edition of the Red River Showdown at the Cotton Bowl in Dallas.
The loss knocked Oklahoma out of the top ten.
While it was a big loss for the Sooners, it has sadly become a common trend to see Oklahoma fall to teams ranked much lower.
Thanks to an interesting stat tweeted out by College GameDay host Rece Davis, we learned that the Sooners have lost five games as clear favorites in the last five seasons which is more than any other school in the FBS.
