One of new Oklahoma defensive coordinator Alex Grinch's first duties will be to fill at least one spot on his staff — linebackers coach.
Tim Kish, who had served as an assistant for the Sooners since 2012, announced his retirement on Twitter on Saturday.
"I want to thank Coaches Bob and Mike Stoops for giving me the opportunity to coach here at Oklahoma and Coach (Lincoln) Riley for extending that opportunity," Kish posted in part. "I'm truly grateful to have worked with our football staff and administration. Thank you to all my players past and present for all of their hard work and dedication.
