Freshman outside linebacker Caleb Kelly, a five-star recruit expected to see significant playing time this season for Oklahoma, has missed several practices this week with knee sprain.
Sooners coach Bob Stoops characterized the injury as minor and said Kelly would likely be back practicing next week.
Wide receivers Dede Westbrook and Mykel Jones both missed the week of practice with injuries as well.
“They’re close,” Stoops said. “I imagine they’ll be back next week. That’s what we’re shooting for and I believe they will be.
