Oklahoma backup linebacker Curtis Bolton will miss the rest of the season after suffering an ankle injury in the win over Baylor on Sept. 23, Sooners coach Lincoln Riley announced Monday.
He will require surgery for the injury.
Bolton is the several nth OU player to be knocked out for the year due to injury, joining wide receiver Nick Basquine, running back Kennedy Brooks, offensive lineman Alex Dalton, linebacker Levi Draper, offensive lineman Dwayne Orso-Bacchus, and cornerback Jordan Parker,
Bolton was a backup at several spots at linebacker, most notably in the weakside spot.
