Can Alex Grinch lay the foundation for major improvements in 2019?
At one point this offseason, 2019 looked like it could be a re-loading year for the Oklahoma Sooners. Kyler Murray was on the way out along with four starting offensive linemen, and OU's defense perhaps a year away from seeing drastic improvements under new defensive coordinator Alex Grinch. Under most circumstances, Grinch would have been afforded a 'Year 0' for the 2019 campaign.
But that conservative approach flew out the window when Alabama grad transfer Jalen Hurts picked the Sooners.
