The men’s Oklahoma golf team found itself on the wrong side of the cutline in the NCAA Golf Championship and will not advance as one of the top 15 teams to the matc- play portion of the championship format.
It will be the first time in the last six seasons the NCAA Championship has been held (the tournament was cancelled in the 2020 pandemic year) that the Sooner men have not made it into the quarterfinal round.
Oklahoma finished the 54-hole stroke-play portion of the championship in 17th place with a team score of 27-under-par 867 at the par 70 Grayhawk Golf Club in Scottsdale, Arizona.
